In recent years, his rural based programmes for Anglia TV have drawn large audiences. Paul has reconstructed the Victorian Farming Summer and Winter using his skills as a horseman, competent to plough, sow, reap and mow. These shows aimed to give an accurate portrayal of farming life in this era.

This led to a reconstruction on the Wartime Farming Year.

His last two series for Anglia TV ( all produced by Great Takes TV) took him to the Secret Rivers of East Anglia, afloat in a canoe.

Many of these programmes have since featured in Countrywise.
